Organised by Carrot Tickets, the event seamlessly combined the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final with world-class entertainment, creating a memorable showcase of Eswatini’s vibrant hospitality and nightlife.

From midday, football supporters and music lovers streamed into the venue, where a giant outdoor screen broadcast the highly anticipated final between Spain and Argentina. Dressed in their national colours, fans created a festive atmosphere as local DJs entertained the crowd ahead of kick-off, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

Eswatini’s own entertainers took centre stage before the headline act, with energetic performances from Lady Zee, Groove General, Sgitha, Blaxx, Sbu De Drum DJ, Zulu D, and Teesto vs Tasha. Their performances highlighted the Kingdom’s thriving entertainment industry while keeping the crowd energised throughout the match.

The thrilling World Cup final kept supporters on the edge of their seats as Spain emerged victorious, defeating Argentina to lift the FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy. Jubilant celebrations quickly transitioned into another spectacle as anticipation built for the arrival of South African award-winning Afro-house sensation Oscar Mbo.

Before taking to the stage, Oscar Mbo shared his admiration for Eswatini during an exclusive interview, describing the Kingdom as one of his favourite destinations in Southern Africa.

Calling himself “a tropical person,” the celebrated DJ and producer praised Eswatini’s breathtaking landscapes, particularly its majestic mountains, which he said continue to leave a lasting impression every time he visits.

“I’ve been to Eswatini so many times that I’ve honestly lost count,” he said with a smile. “It’s one of those places that always revives my spirit. The scenery is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the people always make you feel at home.”

His remarks reinforced Eswatini’s growing reputation as a destination that offers more than just spectacular scenery, but also genuine warmth, rich culture and unforgettable visitor experiences.

In a touching display of Swazi hospitality, Carrot Tickets PR and Marketing Head Natalie Smith presented the visiting artist with traditional Swazi gifts as a token of appreciation. Oscar Mbo received a lihiya specially printed with his clothing brand, along with a ligcebesha, the iconic Swazi beaded necklace.

The symbolic gesture celebrated Eswatini’s rich cultural heritage while recognising the important role artists play in strengthening regional ties through music, tourism and cultural exchange.

With the excitement of Spain’s World Cup triumph still filling the air, Oscar Mbo finally took to the stage, delivering an exhilarating Afro-house set that had the crowd dancing well into the night. His performance transformed the venue into a vibrant celebration, bringing together fans from across the region in an atmosphere of unity, joy and shared appreciation for music.

Beyond the entertainment, the event demonstrated the growing potential of sports and music tourism in Eswatini. By combining a global sporting spectacle with top-tier live entertainment and authentic cultural experiences, Carrot Tickets created an event that showcased the Kingdom as a dynamic destination capable of hosting memorable international experiences.

As Eswatini continues to position itself as a premier tourism destination, events such as the Oscar Mbo World Cup Final Watch Party highlight the country’s ability to blend world-class entertainment, cultural authenticity and warm hospitality into experiences that leave lasting impressions on both local and international visitors.
