Gin Gardens 2026 is positioning itself as more than a music event, with organisers developing a premium lifestyle experience that brings together drinks, food, music, fashion, art, beauty and social experiences in one setting.
Scheduled for October 3, 2026 at Sharma House in Ezulwini, the event is expected to welcome approximately 1 000 guests. Organisers say the venue complements the event’s outdoor garden concept while placing it in Ezulwini, one of Eswatini’s prominent leisure and tourism destinations.
According to Nomabizo Nxumalo Mtsetfwa, Creative Director of Gin Gardens 2026, the concept is centred on creating an experience that extends beyond entertainment.
MUSIC MEETS LIFESTYLE
Music remains a key component of the programme, with Eswatini and South African artists expected to feature as part of a line-up that reflects the country’s growing connection with the wider African creative industry.

However, Nxumalo Mtsetfwa emphasises that the main stage will form only one part of the experience. Guests can expect food experiences, brand activations, art, fashion, beauty and curated garden spaces designed to encourage social interaction and exploration throughout the day.
Mtsetfwa said the intention is to create an environment where guests can engage with different aspects of lifestyle and creativity.
PLATFORM FOR LOCAL CREATIVES
Gin Gardens also aims to create opportunities for local creatives and entrepreneurs. DJs, musicians, designers, photographers, food vendors, beauty professionals, production companies and other service providers can benefit through exposure, networking and commercial opportunities generated around the event.
Nxumalo Mtsetfwa views this creative participation as an important part of building an event that reflects Eswatini’s talent and entrepreneurial energy.
BOOSTING EZULWINI’S TOURISM OFFERING
Tourism forms another important part of the Gin Gardens vision. By attracting visitors from neighbouring Southern African markets as well as members of the Eswatini diaspora, Nxumalo Mtsetfwa hopes the event will contribute to destination visibility and encourage visitors to experience more of Ezulwini and other parts of the country.
The economic activity generated by the event could extend beyond Sharma House, with visitors potentially requiring accommodation, transport, restaurants, entertainment and other tourism-related services.
This positions Gin Gardens as part of a broader tourism ecosystem, with the potential to connect entertainment with hospitality and destination experiences.
FOCUS ON RESPONSIBLE EVENTS
Environmental responsibility is also being considered as part of the event’s development. Organisers have highlighted waste management, responsible disposal and maintaining cleanliness at the outdoor venue, with plans to introduce more structured sustainability initiatives as the event grows.
Gin Gardens is described in three words is premium, diverse and unforgettable.
Gin Gardens 2026 aims to deliver a full-day lifestyle experience that brings together entertainment, hospitality, creativity and social culture in the heart of Ezulwini.
