KHUSELWA FARM UNVEILS DATE FOR SECOND COUPLES DAY OUT RETREAT

Following a successful first edition held on 15 August 2026, Khuselwa Farm Adventures in Lugaganeni, Manzini, is already preparing to welcome couples back for another day of love, laughter, adventure and connection.

The much-anticipated second edition of the Couples Day Out Retreat has officially been set for September 12, 2026, with bookings already filling up as couples look forward to another experience designed to bring them closer through adventure and quality time in nature.

The inaugural retreat brought together married, engaged and dating couples for a full day of outdoor experiences, friendly competition and relationship-building activities.

The day began with a 2km hike, allowing couples to explore the farm surroundings while warming up for a packed programme of activities. This was followed by breakfast, giving participants an opportunity to recharge before taking on a series of challenges designed to test communication, coordination, creativity, patience and teamwork.

From the hilarious “Engrish” spelling challenge and the playful “Find Your Partner” challenge to the Pop the Balloon, Fill the Bottle with a Sponge and Spoon and Ball challenges, the retreat was filled with laughter and friendly competition.

Adventure lovers were also treated to quad biking, while archery challenged participants to test their focus, precision and concentration. Throughout the day, couples cheered each other on, laughed through the challenges and created memories together.

Lunch provided a chance to relax and refuel after the action-packed activities, while the experience ultimately delivered something more meaningful, an opportunity for couples to step away from their usual routines and simply enjoy each other’s company.

The success of the first edition also highlighted the growing potential of experience-based tourism in Eswatini, demonstrating how destinations such as Khuselwa Farm Adventures can combine nature, adventure, food, recreation and social experiences to create memorable visitor experiences.

Now, the bar has been raised for the second edition.

Taking place on September 12, 2026, the upcoming Couples Day Out Retreat will once again welcome married, engaged and dating couples for a day centred on strengthening love through adventure, fun and connection in nature.

The programme is set to include a nature hike, couple games and challenges, quad biking, lunch, a couple dance-off, appreciation and reflection sessions, awards and prizes, a photoshoot and plenty of opportunities to create lasting memories.

For couples who want to extend the experience, a camping option is also available.

The day package is E1 570 per couple, while the package including camping is E2 760 per couple. Transport from Manzini can also be arranged at an additional fee.

With the payment deadline set for 1 September 2026 and limited spaces available, couples are encouraged to book early.

From the laughter-filled challenges of the first edition to the anticipation surrounding the second, Khuselwa Farm Adventures is positioning the Couples Day Out Retreat as more than just a date day, it is an experiential escape where couples can explore, compete, laugh, reconnect and create memories together.
