The Hospitality and Tourism Association of Eswatini (HOTAES) will host Tourism Nkwe 2026 on September 17, 2026, bringing together government leaders, tourism operators and key industry stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and advance the priorities outlined in the Nkwe! Declaration.
Following the momentum of last year’s inaugural Tourism Nkwe held in Ezulwini, this year’s gathering will provide a strategic platform for stakeholders to assess progress, identify opportunities and collectively shape the future of Eswatini’s tourism sector

Key priorities for Tourism Nkwe 2026 will include sustainable destination development, stronger cross-border collaboration and enhancing the end-to-end visitor experience, from arrival to departure.
As the official voice of Eswatini’s tourism and hospitality industry since 1972, HOTAES works closely with the Eswatini Tourism Authority and other stakeholders to advocate for its members, strengthen the business environment and support sustainable sector growth.
HOTAES has emphasised the importance of active participation by local businesses, particularly those operating in accommodation, tour guiding, transport, restaurants and other hospitality services, in shaping the sector’s long-term development.

HOTAES is a member-based trade association representing businesses and professionals across Eswatini’s hospitality, tourism and allied sectors. Membership provides businesses with opportunities to strengthen their visibility, representation and industry connections.
Advocacy and Representation: HOTAES provides a collective voice for the industry and advocates for members on national, regional and international tourism matters.

Marketing and Visibility: Members gain access to collective marketing initiatives, social media exposure and complimentary business listings.
Industry Networking: HOTAES facilitates regular monthly meetings and provides members with access to a dedicated WhatsApp community for industry updates and information sharing.
