MBABANE – Standard Bank Eswatini has rewarded 10 customers with prizes worth a combined E34 000 in the first prize presentation of its Tsenga, Tfumela and Swipe-A transactional campaign.
The winners received their prizes during a presentation held today, with six customers each walking away with E5 000 cash prizes, while two received E1 000 fuel vouchers and another two won E1 000 grocery vouchers.

The campaign forms part of Standard Bank Eswatini’s Phokophela Sinawe campaign and is designed to reward customers for their everyday banking activities while strengthening the relationship between the bank and its customers.
Speaking during the prize presentation, Standard Bank Eswatini Head of Private Banking Olive Healy-Simelane said the campaign was built around customers’ everyday banking activities.

She said the initiative aims to make everyday banking more rewarding by giving customers opportunities to win simply by using Standard Bank products and services as they normally would.
“The campaign is about more than simply giving away prizes. It is about strengthening the relationship we have with our customers and showing appreciation for the role Standard Bank plays in their everyday lives,” Healy-Simelane said.
Under the campaign, customers earn points through qualifying everyday transactions:
Customers can also earn an additional 10 bonus points when they take up selected solutions, including bundled pricing accounts, savings accounts, digital loans, rates payments and Flexi Funeral Cover.
No registration is required, as every qualifying transaction automatically earns entries into the campaign’s weekly, monthly and grand prize draws.
Healy-Simelane said customer participation has already produced encouraging results, with one of the day’s winners earning 516 points from 239 transactions in July alone.
The bank is also recording increased use of its sponsored USSD platform, with more than 40% of airtime, water and electricity purchases now made through the channel, alongside increased card usage both online and in-store.
Standard Bank Marketing and Brand Professional Lethukuthula Ndwandwe said the campaign was introduced to reward the everyday financial decisions customers make as they work towards their goals.

Ndwandwe said everyday banking goes beyond paying, buying or sending money, as these transactions help keep families connected, businesses trading and ambitions alive.
“Growth has never belonged to one person only. Growth grows when hope is shared. When opportunities are created. When businesses thrive. When families remain connected. When one person’s progress inspires another person to keep going,” Ndwandwe said.
He said the campaign reflects Standard Bank’s commitment to supporting customers on their growth journeys and recognising the progress made through their everyday financial choices.
With E600 000 in total. prizes still available include the grand prize of a brand-new OMODA C5.

A total of 81 customers are set to benefit during the campaign period, which runs until November 30, 2026.
