KAMSHOLO FAMILY DAY RETURNS WITH WILDLIFE, ADVENTURE AND LIVE MUSIC

Families across Eswatini are invited to enjoy a day of outdoor adventure, wildlife and entertainment when KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris hosts its annual KaMsholo Family Day on Saturday, 26 September 2026.

Organised under The Kingdom of Eswatini’s Big Game Parks, the family-friendly event promises a programme filled with activities, food, wildlife encounters and live entertainment, all set against the scenic backdrop of the bushveld.

Designed to cater for visitors of all ages, the event will feature activities grouped under three themes: Play, Explore and Enjoy.

Under Play, families can experience ziplining, jumping castles, slides and trampolines. Those looking to explore the outdoors can take part in horse riding, game drives and bike riding, while snake demonstrations will offer visitors an opportunity to learn more about some of the country’s wildlife.

The Enjoy programme will include food stalls, candy, face painting, competitions and live music. Some activities may carry an additional charge.

Entrance is priced at E70 for adults and E35 for children, while children under two years enter free. Visitors looking to extend their experience can also take advantage of a 20% accommodation discount when booking a weekend stay.

As the sun sets, the Family Day programme will continue with live entertainment. From 7pm to 10pm, local performer José will take to the stage for acoustic performances and vocal covers. His appearance is included in the Family Day experience at no additional cost.

Big Game Parks Marketing Manager Hlengiwe Mhlungu said the event is designed to bring families together while showcasing the recreational experiences available within the country’s protected areas.

“KaMsholo Family Day is all about creating lasting memories in the heart of the bushveld. Whether it’s the thrill of the zipline, getting up close with wildlife, or singing along with José under the stars, there’s something for every member of the family,” she said.

Mhlungu added that the accommodation offer is intended to make it easier for families to turn the event into a weekend getaway.

KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris forms part of the Big Game Parks network, offering visitors an opportunity to combine recreation, wildlife and an overnight bushveld experience.
