MTN ESWATINI LAUNCHES NGITS’IPLAN CAMPAIGN, PROMOTING ONE SIM, ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

By Tlalane Dlamini

MTN Eswatini has launched its customer-focused Ngits’iPlan campaign under the theme One SIM, Endless Possibilities, highlighting how its integrated digital ecosystem can help Emaswati communicate, transact, learn, grow businesses and participate more meaningfully in the digital economy.

The campaign reflects the telecommunications company’s ambition to provide more than voice and data services by bringing together connectivity, financial services and digital solutions that respond to customers’ everyday needs.

MTN Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Jerry Soko said the value of connectivity lies in the opportunities it creates for customers, from accessing educational resources and applying for jobs to helping entrepreneurs reach customers and enabling families to stay connected.

“The MTN SIM is a gateway to possibility. Its real value lies in what customers can do because they are connected,” said Soko.

He highlighted the company’s continued investment in its network, fibre and digital infrastructure, alongside relevant offerings designed to support customers in their daily lives.

MTN Fintech Chief Executive Officer Sam Shongwe said digital connectivity and financial services increasingly work together, enabling people to access opportunities and manage everyday transactions through their mobile devices.

Through Mobile Money (MoMo), customers can send money to family members, pay bills, purchase airtime and make merchant payments. These services also provide opportunities for small businesses to receive digital payments and participate in the growing digital economy.

The company’s ecosystem extends beyond telecommunications and financial transactions to include digital skills development, entrepreneurship, entertainment, healthcare and enterprise solutions.

Through the MTN Skills Academy, customers can access digital learning opportunities, while the MTN Pachi Panda initiative supports entrepreneurship through tools, funding and mentorship. The MTN Content Hub offers access to music, videos, news and other content, while TruMD demonstrates how digital technology can support access to healthcare services.

MTN also provides solutions for businesses and industries through enterprise connectivity, cloud and data services, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Its MTN Business Animal Tracking service, for example, uses technology to support livestock monitoring and provide alerts that can help farmers protect their livelihoods.

Soko said the company’s ambition was to use connectivity and innovation to address practical needs across Eswatini, including supporting households, farmers and businesses.

MTN Eswatini Chief Marketing Officer Meshack Maseko said Ngits’iPlan encourages customers to look beyond individual products and explore the wider range of services available through the company’s ecosystem.

“Ngits’iPlan starts with the customer’s plan and asks how MTN can help make more of that journey possible,” said Maseko.

He said the campaign aims to help Emaswati discover how MTN’s offerings can support their personal and professional ambitions, whether through learning new digital skills, developing a business, accessing healthcare or enjoying digital content.

Having served Eswatini for more than 20 years, MTN continues to position connectivity and digital innovation as tools for economic participation and development.

Through Ngits’iPlan, the company seeks to demonstrate how a single SIM can provide access to a broader range of services and opportunities, supporting customers as they pursue education, strengthen family connections, build businesses and advance their careers.
