South African comedian Nonto R is set to return to Eswatini for a unique evening of laughter, music and gospel when she headlines “Experience: Comedy Meets Gospel” at Sibane Sami Hotel on October 31, 2026.

Presented as a Woman in Comedy production, the event promises to bring together comedy and gospel in a live entertainment experience designed to offer audiences something different from the traditional comedy show.

Nonto R’s return to the Kingdom is expected to attract comedy lovers who have followed her work and are eager to see her back on an Eswatini stage. Her appearance also adds a regional dimension to the country’s growing entertainment calendar, which continues to attract performers from across the border.

The show starts at 6:30pm and will combine stand-up comedy with gospel music, creating an evening that blends entertainment, inspiration and hospitality.

The production has also received recognition through the NACA Outstanding Comedian Performance 2026 awards, further reflecting the growing profile and recognition of comedy as part of the wider entertainment industry.

Tickets start at E250 per person and are available online through Mojaticket, offering audiences an affordable opportunity to experience a regional comedy act in a live setting.

Beyond the entertainment value, the event contributes to Eswatini’s growing events and cultural tourism offering. Shows that attract performers and audiences from outside the country can generate wider economic activity, benefiting accommodation providers, restaurants, transport operators and other businesses connected to the tourism value chain.

Eswatini’s events calendar has increasingly expanded to include concerts, comedy shows, festivals and cultural experiences, creating additional reasons for both domestic and international visitors to explore the Kingdom.

For local audiences, “Experience: Comedy Meets Gospel” offers an opportunity to enjoy an evening of comedy and gospel close to home. For visitors, it presents another way to experience Eswatini’s hospitality while engaging with the Kingdom’s evolving entertainment scene.

With Nonto R returning to Eswatini, the event adds another exciting offering to the October calendar and highlights the growing space for comedy and live entertainment within the country’s tourism and lifestyle landscape.
