Highlighting a year of historic recovery and strategic growth, the Chief Executive Officer of the Eswatini Tourism(ETA), Vusie N. Dlamini underscored that the Kingdom has reached a significant turning point in its journey toward becoming a premier global destination .
A Landmark Achievement: Over One Million Arrivals
The CEO officially recognised 2025 as a milestone year for the Kingdom, noting that Eswatini successfully recorded over one million international visitor arrivals. This achievement marks a complete post-COVID-19 recovery and signals a robust, sustained growth momentum for the sector.
“This performance reflects not only renewed confidence in our destination but also the resilience and commitment of all stakeholders,” Dlamini stated, crediting the collective efforts of both private enterprises and developmental institutions for the surge.
The Power of Data-Driven Interventions
A central theme of the CEO’s address was the necessity of this workshop as a tool for future planning. He emphasised that for Eswatini to remain competitive, the industry must transition toward a more analytical and coordinated approach.
