ESWATINI FARMERS MARKET SET FOR BIGGEST CELEBRATION

MALKERNS – The fifth edition of the Eswatini Farmers Market is set to take place on October 10, 2026 at Malkerns Country Club, promising a vibrant celebration of local food, culture, entrepreneurship, music, family entertainment and lifestyle experiences.

Since its launch in 2022, the event has grown from a platform connecting local small businesses with consumers into a leading lifestyle experience on Eswatini’s events calendar. Its continued growth has created opportunities for entrepreneurs while bringing together agriculture, creativity, food, tourism and entertainment.

Festival Director Mbekezeni ‘Culolam’ Dlamini said the event’s growing appeal presents an opportunity to attract visitors beyond Eswatini’s borders.

“With its growing appeal, the event also has the potential to attract visitors from across the region who are looking for authentic lifestyle, cultural and experiential tourism offerings,” said Dlamini.

The 2026 edition is expected to feature more than 70 exhibitors from across Eswatini, showcasing a diverse range of products and services spanning agriculture, food, fashion, crafts, beauty, lifestyle and other entrepreneurial ventures.

The market provides participating businesses with an opportunity to showcase their products directly to consumers, build brand visibility and establish valuable networks, while visitors can discover and support locally produced goods.

A DAY OF FOOD, MUSIC AND FAMILY FUN

Food will remain one of the major attractions, with visitors expected to enjoy traditional Swazi cuisine, fresh farm produce, gourmet dishes, international flavours, desserts and a selection of beverages.

The event will also feature entertainment designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, alongside family activities, competitions, children’s entertainment, lifestyle exhibitions and outdoor spaces where visitors can relax and socialise.
