38 DAYS TO THE FIRST COUPLES DAY OUT RETREAT AT KHUSELWA FARM ADVENTURES

MANZINI – Love, laughter and adventure will take centre stage in just 38 days as Khuselwa Farm Adventures prepares to host its inaugural Couples Day Out Retreat on 15 August 2026 at its scenic Lugaganeni venue in Manzini.

Held under the theme “Building Stronger Bonds Through Love, Fun & Connection,” the one-day retreat promises couples a refreshing escape from everyday routines while strengthening their relationships through exciting outdoor activities, teamwork and meaningful conversations.

Open to married, engaged and dating couples, the retreat will run from 7:00am to 5:00pm, offering a carefully curated programme that blends adventure, relaxation and relationship-building.

The day begins with registration and a welcome session before couples head out on a guided nature hike, complete with interaction prompts and scenic photo opportunities. Guests will then enjoy a light breakfast before taking part in a series of fun team challenges designed to build trust, communication and cooperation.

Activities include the Blindfold Trust Walk, Water Bucket Relay, Hoola Hoop Challenge, Team Ski Race, Carry-Me Relay, Tug of War, Apple Balance Challenge and other interactive games where couples compete for points.

The retreat will also recognise outstanding participants during an awards ceremony, with prizes for categories such as Best Teamwork Couple, Most Enthusiastic Couple, and the overall Couples Champions Trophy winners.

Adventure continues in the afternoon with quad biking or archery, followed by a buffet lunch, couple photoshoots, a romantic dance-off and an Appreciation Circle, where partners will share what they value most about each other and make commitments for the future.

In a unique gesture of giving back, participating couples are encouraged to bring a donation item that will be donated to a charity selected by the winning team.

Organisers say the retreat is designed to provide more than just entertainment—it aims to create lasting memories while encouraging healthy communication, trust and stronger emotional connections.

The event costs E1,400 per couple, with payment due by 1 August 2026. Limited spaces are available, and transport from Manzini can be arranged at an additional cost.

Following the inaugural edition, the Couples Day Out Retreat will become a recurring event, with additional dates scheduled for 12 September, 10 October, 14 November 2026, and 9 January 2027.
