MBABANE – Standard Bank Eswatini has launched a nationwide customer rewards campaign that will see clients win prizes worth up to E600,000, including a brand-new Omoda vehicle, as the bank pushes to reward everyday banking activities.
The campaign, which runs from 29 June to 30 November 2026, is part of the bank’s newly launched “Phokophela. Sinawe” initiative and is aimed at encouraging customers to make greater use of Standard Bank’s digital, transactional and card-based services while automatically earning entries into prize draws.
Speaking during the launch, Standard Bank Head of Products Nqoba Manana said the promotion is designed to show that the bank’s promise to stand with customers goes beyond advertising and becomes visible in the way it supports people in their daily financial lives.
A total of 81 winners will emerge over the course of the campaign. This includes 50 weekly winners who will each receive E1,000 fuel or shopping vouchers, 30 monthly winners who will walk away with E5,000 cash prizes, and one grand prize winner who will drive away in a new Omoda.
Manana explained that the campaign is built around the simple idea of rewarding customers for banking as they normally do. Qualifying transactions include purchasing airtime and electricity, buying goods, sending money, using bank-to-wallet services and swiping Standard Bank cards at shops, restaurants, fuel stations and other merchants.

He said the campaign is anchored on three key actions, buy, send and swipe, with customers automatically earning entries every time they use eligible Standard Bank services.
Importantly, there is no separate registration process required, as customers are entered into the competition through their qualifying transactions.
“The campaign demonstrates that we are with our customers in their daily needs, when money moves and as life continues to move forward,” Manana said.
Meanwhile, Standard Bank also revealed that the group of blue-clad individuals who recently sparked curiosity across Mbabane were part of the same “Phokophela. Sinawe” campaign.
The group, which was seen walking through town carrying blue balloons, interacting with residents and performing acts of kindness, had become a talking point after distributing food parcels, snacks and transport money while keeping their identity under wraps.
Standard Bank Head of Marketing Sanele Khumalo said the “people in blue” were intentionally introduced to generate curiosity while giving the public a real-life experience of the campaign’s message of support and presence.
She said the initiative was about showing that the bank’s promise is not just a slogan, but a commitment to stand with customers and communities in practical ways.

With the campaign now officially unveiled, Standard Bank says it hopes to deepen customer engagement while rewarding the banking habits that form part of everyday life.
