PROPHET PROMISE LAUNCHES “CALLED TO SERVE”

A significant milestone in Prophet Promise’s ministry and personal journey was celebrated on August 29, 2026, as Called to Serve: My Prophetic Journey was officially launched during a special book launch breakfast.

Held from 9:00am to 11:00am, the intimate gathering brought together family, friends, spiritual leaders, mentors, partners, sons and daughters in faith, as well as supporters who have been part of the author’s journey.

Centred on the theme “Called to Serve: My Prophetic Journey,” the breakfast provided an opportunity not only to unveil the new publication, but also to reflect on the experiences, lessons and sacrifices that inspired its writing.

The programme began with the arrival, registration and seating of guests, followed by an opening prayer that set the tone for a morning centred on faith, reflection and celebration.

The welcome and purpose of the gathering were followed by a personal presentation from Prophet Promise, who shared the story behind the book and why he felt compelled to document his prophetic journey.

At the heart of the programme was a keynote address delivered by his spiritual father, Apostle C. Samunenge, whose contribution added a significant spiritual dimension to the occasion.

The address provided an opportunity to reflect on the importance of calling, obedience and service, while celebrating the journey that ultimately resulted in the publication of Called to Serve: My Prophetic Journey.

The highly anticipated moment of the morning came with the official presentation and launch of the book, marking the transition of Prophet Promise’s story from a personal manuscript into a published work that can now be shared with a wider audience.

The author then responded with words of appreciation, acknowledging the many people who have supported him throughout the journey.

Among those honoured were his spiritual father, Apostle C. Samunenge, mentors including Thabiso Dlamini, brothers in faith such as Dunamis Shongwe, as well as partners, sons and daughters who contributed through their encouragement, prayers, support and presence.

Prophet Promise also expressed special appreciation to Beyond Publishers for helping bring the publication from manuscript to finished book.

He particularly acknowledged Pastor Matthew Carlos Mattea for his guidance, support and contribution throughout the publishing process.

Another emotional highlight of the celebration was the surprise appearance of Prophet Promise’s brother, Custódio Teodorico Pilgrim, who travelled from Mozambique to be part of the milestone.

His presence added a special cross border dimension to the celebration, with Custódio also taking copies of the book back to Mozambique to share with other men of God.

Following the formal launch, guests had an opportunity to purchase copies of the book, meet the author, have their books signed and capture photographs from the memorable occasion.

For Prophet Promise, however, the launch represented far more than the release of a new publication.

Called to Serve: My Prophetic Journey captures a story shaped by calling, obedience, sacrifice, pain, growth and service. It is presented as a testimony of a journey with God and a reflection of the grace required to continue serving through different seasons.

The book launch therefore became both a celebration of an author and a celebration of the journey behind the author, a journey that has now been preserved in print for others to read, reflect on and draw inspiration from.

As the breakfast came to a close with final remarks and a closing prayer, the message of the day remained clear. The publication may mark the completion of one chapter, but the calling and service continue.
